GE is proud to announce the release of the MiCOM P740 Distributed Busbar Protection System with enhanced cyber security and switchable IEC 61850 Edition 1&2. Adopting the release of GE branding and the front USB engineering port, the new firmware released as v91 pushes the envelope further. IEC 61850 Edition 2, duplicated GOOSE detection, fixed-length GOOSE and advanced cybersecurity are included.

Update for MiCOM S1 Agile version 2.1 Build 4.8.0 – Install Now

GE Grid Solutions advises an important update to MiCOM S1 Agile, the universal IED engineering tool suite for MiCOM and Agile devices.  We recommend that this update is performed in order to continue fast and uninterrupted access to product data models. The patch can be downloaded using the link below:

NEW FEATURES

• PSL Editor Off Page Connectors: New off page connector signals (or PSL variables) are available to simplify PSL connections between different pages of logic in a seamless and orderly fashion
• GOOSE Configurator Tool Improvements: PSL files can be associated in GOOSE configurator to IEDs to speed up configuration of GOOSE subscriptions when associating them to the relay’s internal signals
  
• GOOSE Configurator Tool Improvements: Added support for SCL files. The tool can add non MiCOM Px4x IEDs from CID files and entire SCD files for the purpose of receiving third party IED publishers. The tool, however, is still limited to setting GOOSE subscriptions and publishers for MiCOM Px4x relays
