Time synchronized phasor measurement (i.e. synchrophasors) involves measuring electric system frequencies and phase angles very precisely from 20-120 times every second at various points across the electrical grid over large geographic areas. Synchrophasor measurements are time stamped using very precise time sources such as the Global Positioning Systems (GPS) satellite signals. This provides very detailed and precise time synchronized measurements of the state of the electrical grid.

TCCL to supply IEC61850 Substation Automation to MEA, Metropolitant Electricity Authority of Thailand, for Bangkrachao and Rassburana Substation. the SA system will be a full scheme PACiS/DS Agile ALSTOM latest IEC61850 control system. It would comply to MEA's most strengthen requirement of "Substation Automation System based on IEC61850 standard". the sytem due to be delivered Suptember 2013 and commsionign end of 2013 latest.

TCCL supplied a package of 123kV CT,CVT,LA and 22kV GCB, CT, VT to LAO's Nong Bong substation. The equipment passed the commissioning end of last year December 2012 and the substation is live now.

TCCL to supply a fully IEC61850 Substation Automation System to one of private industry. The system will be dual redundant RSTP protocal with 20 IEDs. The system provides a maximum overall control and monitoring performance based on new IEC61850 protocol and latest MiCOM hardware revision "M" with dual Fiber Optic Ethernet Communication.

The scheme due to be delivered on March and commisisoning in April 2013.

Gulf SPP's representative and contractor has witness the FAT for their SRTU cubicle today. The SRTU system was successful pass the FAT with minor comment. The panel due to be delivered end of August 2012.
